MEET THE TEAM

  • Valerio Sterzi is the principal investigator of the NPEIE project . He is f ull professor of economics at Bordeaux School of Economics, UMR CNRS 6060, University of Borde aux and board member of European Po licy for Intellectual Property ( EPIP ) Association.

  • Post - Doc at Gran Sasso Science Institute (Italy) , Laura defended her doctoral thesis in economics at the University of Corsica in July 2019. Her thesis focuses on technology transfer activities of universities and their impact on regional innovation dynamics.

  • Claudio is associate professor of Economics at the University of Corsica and research fellow at LISA (ieux, Identités, eSpaces et Activités), Corte (FR) and affiliated to CRENOS (Centre for North South Economic Research), Sassari (IT).

  • Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Notre Dame (US). Her research mainly focuses on IP law and its impact on innovation in different fields. She is particularly interested in how the requirements for protection in patent law are used to create incentives to innovate and simultaneously to protect the public domain.

  • Professeur in Economics at GREThA, University of Bordeaux, and President Elect of the EPIP14 Association. He is also member of the Third Mission Evaluation Committe of ANVUR, the Italian Agency for the Evaluation of Universities & Research.

  • PhD Student, Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, Varese, Italy and Université de Bordeaux, Bordeaux, France.

  • Senior Researcher (Científico Titular) and Deputy Director at the Institute of Public Goods and Policies of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC-IPP) in Madrid. C. Martinez has taken part in several expert groups about intellectual property rights and she is now in the board of the EPIP Association.

  • Junior Researcher (Chargé de Recherche) at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), attached to the GREThA (University of Bordeaux). He is also research affiliate at the AQR-IREA, external research fellow at the CReAM, and Early Career Editor of the journal Regional Studies, since 2015.

  • With a M.A. in Economics and Complexity (Collegio Carlo Alberto) and a M.Sc. in Environmental Economics at (University of Roma TRE) he is currently Assistant professor of economics, Università degli Studi di Torino.

  • Associate professor of economics at GREDEG, University of Nice. He is also research fellow at ICRIOS, Bocconi University and at BRICK, Collegio Carlo Alberto. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Chair of Economics and Management of Innovation, EPFL, Bicocca University, and University of Brescia.

  • Economist expert in innovation. He is manager of an op en innovation project at Social Policies Department of the Caisse des Dépôts Group.

  • Johannes van der Pol is Assistant professor of Economics at Utrecht University . He obtained a master’s degree in Economic and Financial Risk Engineer ing (IREF) and a PhD in Economics on the link between collaboration and economic performance.
